Unfolding Ancient Mysteries
Positive thinking teaching has become a trendy topic. Our culture has become fascinated by this old wisdom as if it were newly discovered. As a result, we fail to give credit where it is due. When the bestselling book "The Secret" came out, it was hailed as a magical answer for so many of our struggles. The irony is that many of the “secrets” in that book originated years ago. Some of the quotes are decades old. We have had great men like Norman Vincent Peale, Zig Ziglar, Maxwell Maltz long ago make us aware of how our thinking affects our lives for better or worse. But the law of attraction was not new to them and they didnt dream it up. We may do better to think of the positive thinking "secret" as more of a mystery than a secret.
